Distressed Canvas Part Two---lip

I have been doing more gel medium projects for gifts. These tulip canvases were so fun to do. I just printed some of my recent tulip pictures in 11x14 size {but on 11x17 paper} and followed these instructions from my ABC distressed canvas art tutorial.

I have gotten some questions about this similar project...
...as well so I have revised the instructions and have included some extra tips I have learned having done it a few more times. Go here to check it out.

I have also seen some of you doing these projects. Thanks for letting me know. I love to come check out your finished projects and your blogs!

Katie from Something Old, Something New made the Alphabet collage but just got it printed up as a poster.

Very cool. I am digging the McDonald's arches for the "M."

Mama Makes made these.
 Cute right? Good job Alyssa.

Have a wonderful Monday!

I adoooore these tulips pics - beautiful job! I recently found your blog and just love your projects, esp since I have a son who is heavily into robots as well :)
Question about this - do you have any suggestions on where to get the color prints made on a color photocopy (laser) machine? I'm actually having a hard time with that. Thanks for your help, keep up the awesome blog!

Thanks Stacey.

I just get mine printed at our university campus print shop. They usually have the cheapest prices as well. If you are not near a university, then I would try a copy/print shop that usually prints ads and such for local businesses. A copy place like Kinkos is okay but by far usually the most pricey.
...BUT they can make large (larger than 11x17) b&w COPIES of images for less than a print shop can PRINT them. I think about $6 or so for 16x20 where a print shop can run about $20 or more.

Most copy places that I have found cannot print larger than 11x17 in laser color at all or without having to move to a much more expensive printer which means like 5x as much money to print it.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

Good luck! I would love to see your finished project.
