Yesterday, we had Owen's birthday party.
Yeah...I'm pooped. Last year we invited 9 kids and all of them came. This year I was afraid that might happen again, so we invited 5 and 3 of them came. At first I felt guilty that I didn't let Owen invite more. Then as the party progressed I was glad we only had five total - 3 guests and Owen and Reid. They are all good friends and were not shy a bit, which made for quite a rowdy party! Five was plenty!
Owen loved it...and I'm admittedly glad it's over! :)
It was a small party but we did some fun things that I'm excited to share with you in a couple of weeks.

Isn't that just how it is, I can invite the same number of people every time and one party I'll have maybe five guests with their kids and the next there will be like 25+ kids running around the backyard while I count my lucky stars I did a pinata instead of goody bags!
