As one of Babble's top 50 craft bloggers, she sews, she crafts (this barrette jar and these tiny jam jar salt pepper shakers are on my list), and she captures it all beautifully through photos. Her instagram feed is one of my absolute faves to follow. Don't have instagram? No worries. Just follow her blog and she'll give you weekly updates on her charming, uplifting photos. She really does have a...pretty cool life!
Here's Cheryl!

I'm Cheryl from a pretty cool life. I love vintage, DIY, sewing, crafting, photography, and a whole lot of things in between...today I'm happy to share a super quick, super easy project.
Burlap buntings are all over right now, and I've had the idea floating around to make one with some sparkle...I love the contrast between the rough and tough burlap and the delicate and sparkly glitter. When Delia asked me to participate in her Winter Whites series...and said she was looking for white or sparkly projects...I knew I had to say yes and try out the idea!!
So...
here's a quick how to on a glittery no sew burlap bunting.
What you need:
burlap
twine
glue
glitter (I love Martha's superfine glitter! I used the color yellow gold for this project.)
chipboard letters (found in the scrapbook section)
Start by cutting your burlap into pennants. I cut mine to 5 x 6 inches and cut a little notch from the bottom.
Next, glitter your letters. I squeezed a small dot of glue into a dish and then used a paintbrush to spread it on each letter. Sprinkle the glitter on your letters and gently tap any excess off.
Then flip your bunting over and glue on the letters. That's it! So quick, right?!
We don't have a fireplace, so I played around with my bunting until I found a background for it that I liked...our chalkboard is perfect. I threw in a few white pom poms just for fun and I love the way it turned out!
Hope you liked this project...if you did, find me and see what else I'm up to!

This is SO pretty -- and I actually have all of the stuff to make this on hand! Yay for not having to run to the store. :)
