What better way to kick off Color My Summer than starting out with RAINBOW,
and better than that?...having

There is just something about Dana that you can't help but love. Everything she does is inspiring and almost contagious. When she posts about carrot cake, all you can think about for the next 2 weeks is carrot cake...or maybe that's just me. :)
Her photography is always gorgeous..
Her sewing tutorials perfectly detailed and accurate...{this girl has pretty much taught me how to sew and still is}
Her recipes...you know how I feel about them...
And she is one of most creative, fun moms...
And...if could just mention how sincerely kind she is. She is my favorite pen pal...hope we get to meet soon Dana!
She also has some great colorful summer tutorials that could keep you busy all summer long:
links from top to bottom and left to right: swimsuits, white dress, shirt dress, shortie, towel dress, deep pocket skirt, citrus hobo sack, Ernie shirt
Today she is going to share a fun summer party idea with us. Take it away Dana!

Hello color-loving friends!
It's Dana from MADE and I'm thrilled to be kicking off the summer fun with you all!
I love color--any color--all colors.
In fact, last September I spent an entire month Celebrating Yellow.
And I love summer!
Who doesn't?
Swimming pools are open, flowers are in bloom, berries need picking, vacations are planned, the sun stays up late, and we celebrate our nation's birthday with fireworks and friends.
Summer feels like a rainbow of never-ending fun.And that's what I'm sharing today...a rainbow-inspired party decoration that's easy to make and fun to stream around the house:
Ruffled streamers have been calling my name for years. I spotted this idea a while back on My Paper Crane and the image has been burned in my mind ever since. So I finally sat down and made my own. And guess what, they're easier to make than you'd imagine!I've got a tricky shortcut to help you go from standard crepe paper streamers:
to colorful ruffled ones! (no strings to pull!)
Then you're ready for any colorful party...even a Cinco De Mayo fiesta!I can't wait to make some of my own! See...contagious.
Don't you want to just make some right now too?
Head over to MADE for the full tutorial.

Thanks Delia for having me! And wow, thank you for saying the kindest things. Honestly, really sweet of you :). I'm excited to see everything you guys do this month!
Her photos always make me green with blank wall open space envy. I seriously need to find a big blank wall somewhere!

Love Dana, and love the streamers! I've seen this idea as well, but never combined with other colors, so that was a great touch!
