Holland Designs Crochet Giveaway

I like to make sure at least one of our Christmas gifts to the boys is handmade every year.

This year I settled on slippers.

I waited until the very last minute to get them done this year though. Reid's were done just hours before he opened them to wear them Christmas Eve night! But they were done! Phew...

Paired with their new pajamas, I thought they looked quite adorable. :)

To make the slippers, I used this boys' loafer pattern from Holland Designs

It is definitely an intermediate pattern and takes more time than other things I've made in the past, but the results...

totally worth it.

I love the ribbing all the way around.

Lisa's patterns are very detailed and thorough. This pattern spans quite a few sizes so I'm excited to make more in the future.

Actually... I loved this pattern so much, I contacted Lisa to see if she would do a giveaway.

And she agreed!

For all you crocheters, this week is your lucky week!
Lisa is giving away one 2012 Crochet Calendar

Just perfect for the new year.

There is actually a new pattern for you to try for each month.

If you buy the calendar outright for the current sale price $14.99, that's 12 patterns for a seriously amazing deal.

So...I'm excited to give one away this week.

Here's what you need to do:

1. Leave ONE comment. If you accidentally leave duplicates please erase them.
2. Leave your email address in the comment or make sure your email address is linked to your google profile. I will be using that email to notify you if you win, so please make it one you check often. I will hide your comments/email addresses once the contest is over to protect you from spammers.

That's it!

You have from now until Friday, December 30, 2011, 10 PM MST, to enter.
The winner will be announced on Saturday.

Good luck!

And have a lovely {and if you're out of school like us - lazy} day!
