Downtown

That is this weekend’s theme for the Digital Photography School Challenge.
These first two are the ones I entered in the challenge. The rest are just for fun.

It has been stormy for most of the day, so in the twenty or so minutes of rainless bliss I went out to snap these. For the most part there was sidewalk for miles and not a soul.

My husband will be out of school at the end of the year, and who knows where we will be next year?… so it is nice to get these shots to remember this town by. I have grown to love this place. It will always hold a happy place in my heart.
So…go check out the other entries. They are swoon worthy. As much as I love my small, charming, historic town, I am truly a city girl at heart. All the beautiful “big city” pictures that are posted make my heart go pitter patter.

Even though we only lived there a year I almost look more fondly on that year than our married years in Provo. It always makes me miss living there when I see your pictures.

RE: Shrinky Dink Plastic. You can use #6 plastic (picture a plastic salad clear lid from subway) and it works the same way. I get mine from local recycling center for freeee! Happy crafting:)
