framed jelewry

I am finally getting around to my million miles long craft to do list. I have been wanting to organize my jewelry for a while. My collection is fairly sparse and inexpensive but looks quite nice up and framed…yes?

I used this idea from Nancy from My Blonde Ambitions which was featured on 30 days:

And meshed it with the hundreds of other cloth backed, lace backed, chicken wire backed frames I have seeing floating among the blog-o-sphere.

Pretty simple.

Paint empty frames.

Staple or glue gun fabric into the back.

Add hooks and a dowel.

Add jewelry and hang.

I feel kind of uneasy about the green back because I think it clashes with the jewelry a bit. Maybe I will switch it to gray…someday, but for now I am just glad I have my jewelry organized. Check.

That is such a creative way to store your jewlery. That is a great gift idea. Thanks for sharing.

I like the green. It gives it a pop of color.
