green thumbs

June 22, 2010 · Delia 2 Comments

It happens every year. I fret and worry that nothing is going to come up, nothing is going to grow. I have a problem with patience you see.

But…not after too long our thumbs look pretty green! {his thumb is literally green from decorating Father’s day cards}

Our little plot of “land.”

These are our corn plants….growing tall. This is our first year for corn.

We even got a nice big strawberry. This is our first year doing that too. I even made the mistake of crowding four starts in a large pot and we still have healthy plants. We must have really good soil or something {even though it looks terrible} because I make a lot of mistakes and my plants still do well.

That strawberry? Oh yeah. We ate it. We couldn’t resist. So good.
