    How fun! It's always a neat thing when you can get your kids excited about your career. We recently took my kids to my husband's office and they were thrilled. I'll have to muster up some guts and go touch some bugs! Ha ha ha

    Delia, I absolutely love the bug hunt idea! I was a fisheries and wildlife major in college (currently a stay-at-home mom) and it was always fun to get out in the field. I also worked for an entomology lab on campus. I really miss getting out and being able to do stuff like that. Thanks for bringing back lots of good memories!

    I'm afraid I'm one of those moms who teaches her daughters to squeal and hide from bugs. Actually I put on a brave face for years, and once it became clear that no matter how fearless I tried to act about bugs (which, I know. Tiny. Harmless. My brain knows. My body reacts involuntarily.) my daughter still freaked out about the. So I decided it was time to stop living the lie! Now I
