Lucy Flower Ear Warmer

Ear warmers are so much fun to make. I can’t help myself. You can finish one in an hour or less depending on the design and the possibilities are endless.

I just whipped this one up from some scrap fleece from my failed slipper fiasco.

I used the tutorial for the Lucy flower for the rose, but instead of cutting strips 4 and 5 inches wide and ironing them in half; I simply cut strips 2 and 2 1/2 inches and left the edges raw.

Isn’t fleece so people friendly? 🙂

I hope you are having a good day and are staying warm….Brrr. It has been in the teens and below zero around here.

Lovely. You're so cute you could put on a paper bag and look adorable.

Hey D! Ok—so I just was given an old (and working!!) sewing machine, and your yellow earwarmers (without the pleats) was my first project with the sewing machine!…This is so cute! But with a new sewing machine it kept jamming…ah! It was so frustrating! I ended up using hot glue and hand stitching a cute little band to the edges! Can you do a tutorial of a no-sew ear warmer project? I check

Too bad I look like an idiot in any type of headband. Really short hair is bad for that… but nevertheless, I love this idea.

Did you do a button closure on this ear warmer? Or is it a continuous band?
