Scrappy Flower Spring Wreath

I have really had Spring on the brain lately…even though there is still snow on the ground!

I made this frame wreath so that it could look a little more like March and less like January around here.

There aren’t any flowers blooming outside so I had to take things into my own hands.

I gathered some scraps from my little scrap bins.

And made as many fabric flowers as I could stand.

Here are some great tutorials for fabric flowers that I used:

http://iammommahearmeroar.blogspot.com/2010/09/autumn-bloom-belt.html
http://www.makeit-loveit.com/2010/07/decorate-my-home-part-21-flowered.html
http://treyandlucy.blogspot.com/2010/09/flower-in-my-hair.html

I also just starting making stuff up as I went. It was fun to experiment and go crazy with the hot glue gun.

I then took a white frame I had from another project.

And simply glued all the flowers around the perimeter of the frame.

So easy.

And fresh and Springy.

Cheers me up and helps remind me that Spring is really just around the corner. Right? I hope. 🙂

I LOVE this! I really like unconventional wreath shapes, and this rectangular shape is so so interesting! I also love the colors you chose, not too neon or pastel-y, but just enough color to get excited about Spring. Really wonderful. I think my door needs one 🙂
