Self-portrait in the Kitchen

Rach from Family Ever After has a great photo challenge for us.

The task is simple. Take a picture of you in your kitchen. Since it seems I spend almost half my day in there, that wasn’t too much of a problem for me. And it was kind of fun.

I chose to use my dishwasher.

This one is blurry, but I look a little happier to be doing the dishes than in the first one. 🙂 Plus the dishes in the reflection of the pizza cutter are kind of in focus. Using a self-timer can really be an adventure!

Edited to add…another picture. I found this one from our family blog last year and thought it would fit the challenge well. It’s fun to see my little Reid as a baby again. 🙂

Go here to get more info on the challenge and to see some really creative shots she did. She put her camera in her oven! So fun!

Too cool. It took me a second to realize that the camera was in the dishwasher…I look at pictures, then read. I have no dishwasher. I guess I could put my camera in the sink? Ha ha ha

beautiful shots. I totally smile like that when loading the dishwasher, even when there's no camera in there 🙂

    laughing at Jessica's comment!

Such a fun angle/perspective. I'd need to do one of my on my hands and knees under the table retrieving toys, food, utencils, pencils, crayons, cups…
