And speaking of shorts. I finally, finally used Dana’s flat front shorts tutorial to make some shorts for Reid. Seriously took me forever to get around to it.

awe you two are so cute! great shorts! I do that all the time with my projects, wait and wait and wait! you're not alone. 🙂
Lovely photos as always. Stretch those sewing muscles! I think I have a pair of pants who are just begging to be turned into shorts. Also, a bit jealous of your 80 degree weather… we've already had two weeks of over 100 degree weather! (Not consecutively, thankfully!)
HA HA HA HA HA!! Those photos crack me up! Oh the one of the tummy! TOO CUTE! Oh my. Your sewing skills rock my socks. Wow girl, you amaze me! Great job.
Those are some awesome sewing muscles, especially those of your adorable little man. Yes, I do that with projects ALL. the. time! In fact, that's why I never make stuff for myself or my family. I put it off because there's a baby shower or a birthday for which I have to make something. If there is a deadline, I get it done. Stuff for us doesn't have a deadline, so I never do it. I'
Those look fantastic! You did a great job! I've been wanting to patch up a pair of boyfriend capris that got a whole in them with some fun fabric. I seriously think about it everyday and have yet to get to it! haha!
Love the last photos! Cute!
You know your second photo… where the jeans are just cut at the bottom? That's what mine always look like! Oh man, being short and not knowing how to sew…. Anyway, cute shorts/capris!!
Love this post! And love your shirt!
I'm so glad you made some shorts for Reid. I hope you make more!

You are so adorable!
I just did this to a beloved pair of jeans with way-too-big holes in the knees. I couldn't decide if they looked funny now as shorts but seeing you and yours makes me feel better 🙂

They look great! Thanks for linking to me:). You are so cute. So is Reid!
Great refashion! There is bleach in dishwasher detergent (unless you buy all natural bleach-free brands). I got a bleach spot on my favorite shirt a couple years back, a super cute top from the Banana Republic Outlet. It was so disappointing. And not in a spot where I could do a clever change up to hide my blunder :).
I love this! I just did this (I hemmed mine) a few minutes ago and love them!
