Three years

February 22, 2013 · Delia 8 Comments

Hi hi!

I’m feeling a little sentimental today as my three year blogiversary approaches in a few short weeks.

I’m doing some reminiscing about the last few years of sewing/craft blogging life today for Flashback Friday at Sew Much Ado.

Come say hi and learn a little known secret about me. 馃檪

Loved that post about yourself. It inspires me to keep going even if my projects aren’t perfect and to try more. Almost every time I sit down at my sewing machine I think of the wonderful time we spent together making that quit for Brandy Ensign. Thanks for being my inspiration for being a little braver I try knew things.

Hey Delia! Remember me? We worked together at youth programs. And I always remember that gift and card u gave me when I had my first baby. A nightlight and hand sanitizer. Two necessities! I’ve followed ur blog for like 2 years and I always check it on my phone and comments are a hassle. Sorry I’ve never left any. Congrats on 3 yrs! I love ur blog and pics and ur flashback post was so inspiring! I need to take that advice to heart and let go of my fear to try hard/new things!

What a lovely post! Congratulations on your three year blogaversary.

It was really inspiring to me to read your thoughts from when you first started your blog. I’m in a fairly similar situation now (six month old baby, staying at home, spending more time on crafty things) and with my blog going just three months, I’ve had LOADS of the same doubts you talked about. I’ve been reading your blog for about two years now and always loved it, so seeing that you had some of the same concerns when you started out is really reassuring…

It’s so easy to assume that people you admire who do things well have always found it easy and have loads more self confidence, so it’s a nice reminder that everyone has the same worries, but we just need to bite the bullet and carry on.

Anyway, sorry for such an essay here, but you really touched a chord! Many thanks.

    Sabrina

Hi! Great post as always! You should make some salt water taffy with the kids, sure they'll have loads of fun with all the pulling and cutting! Tutorials all over the web! =)
