Pink...Guest Post from Oopsey-Daisy

Today for PINK I have a super cute girl guest posting that you all know...

Alison from Oopsey Daisy!

Here she is wearing a cute ruffled skirt she made. Tutorial found here.

One of the main things that I love about Alison is that she is a former teacher who uses her education background to be a great mom! She comes up with inspiring mommy school activities:

And even gets Mr. Oopsey-Daisy involved!
These pictures are from her D is for Dogs Mommy School activities.

Isn't this Cat in the Hat outfit she made for Dr. Seuss' birthday adorable?

And most of her activities are downloadable!

Her mommy packets...they will blow your mind. Seriously. This girl has talent. They are chock full of creative, really fun activities.

She has a slew of quiet book page ideas like this one:

And this one...

And she even has a great mother's day craft you could complete before this Sunday.

A very classy spin on the kid handprint plaque.

Today though, she is going to share a pretty and pink, sewn accessory for us.

She has been kind of enough to prepare this tutorial for me from MAUI, where she is currently vacationing with her husband. So all the way from Hawaii...

Here's Alison!
Color me HAPPY!
I am so thrilled to participate in this colorful event with my friend Delia, who just
happens to be my blog crush.

My name is Alison, and my little blogging home is called Oopsey Daisy.  I love colors, but to be completely
honest, I feel like my color palette can be limited.  Why?!  Because I live
with 2 boys!  I often find my projects stuck in a rut of blues, greens, yellows, and
browns.

Not today, my friends. Not today.
I broke free from some bad color habits by spotlighting the color PINK.  And
not just a shy, tame, pastel pink.  Let me introduce you to a bright and fun let's-
celebrate-summer-magenta pink.

I feel like a lady wearing this splash of pink on my wrist.

And let's just make that something pink a BOW.

Not a sewer?  Don't worry, if you can sew a straight line, I'll walk you through
how to create your own bow cuff bracelet in under 10 minutes.

A very fun splash of color to jazz it up this summer.

I love that bracelet and can't wait to make one myself. And wow...doesn't that background look divine?! Alison took these pictures for us just yesterday. What is more summery than Maui?

Head over to Oopsey Daisy for the full tutorial.

And don't forget to check out Disney's pink project over at Kojodesigns.
