Artterro Eco Art Kit Giveaway & Review

March 22, 2013 · Delia 38 Comments

I was recently contacted by this really awesome, unique art kit company called Arrterro.

They create eco-friendly art kits for children and adults alike.

You can see all they have to offer by going HERE.

They sent us one of their new wool felt bug kits to try.

My kids and I really enjoyed it!

The art kit lists that it is for ages 7+ which is pretty accurate. It required a lot of hand sewing. I was surprised to see Owen thoroughly enjoy himself. He sat for a full hour totally engrossed in the project.

He made this creative spider and egg sack hanging from a “web.”

…As well as a little caterpillar.

Reid needed a lot of help, but I let him聽commandeer聽the needle from time to time. The rest of the time he dictated how he wanted his “scorpion” to be made. 馃檪

The materials were very nice quality and simple yet聽eclectic, which聽unlocked so many creative possibilities. I enjoyed making a bug or two (or four) myself :).

Our little bug creations looked right at home nestled in our wheat grass pots. They have since moved onto the boys’ collection shelf and Reid has taken them on a few exciting imaginary adventures already.

All in all we have really enjoyed our聽Artterro Eco Art Kit!

What I love about Arrterro is that they don’t just make creativity their passion, but they are socially and environmentally impassioned as well. All the kits are assembled and shipped from Goodwill Industries. I love that they support efforts in providing jobs to people in need. Most of the packaging is recyclable and/or reusable, and the materials are often made of recycled products. It’s a pleasure to support such a responsible, respectable company.

Today,聽Arrterro聽is offering all my readers 20% of their order by entering DELIA20 at checkout. This coupon code is good until April 6 (which might make this a great Easter basket treat). 馃檪

AND…they are giving one of my readers a Wool Felt Bug Kit to enjoy as well!

Please keep these things in mind:

Looks like fun! I hate that all the "kits" out there are lots of packaging and plastic-y, it's nice to hear of one at least trying to be eco-friendly!

I love that brand! We sell them at the natural toy store where I get to work/play part-time. My daughter got the wire kit for Christmas and we had tons of fun making crowns with it. Glad the company is getting some love from you and all of your lovely blog followers!

I love the fact that there is finally a company who makes non big-box-store craft kits for bigger kids. My daughter has long outgrown the preschooler sets, I am happy to see something that she would love!
