Easiest Guacamole Recipe Ever

Guacamole used to be one of those things that I only made for parties or holidays, because there are so many ingredients and so much prep for just a dip.

I’m lazy.

Now, I’m sure I’m not the first person to realize this, but I finally figured out, that guac is really just avocados + salsa! Pow…mind blown. Tummy happy.

Guac and chips is now my favorite go to lunch!

It’s such a simple recipe, it’s even a cinch to whip up a personal size batch of it.

That means you always get super fresh, not goopy or browning, green ambrosia to the fiesta gods. Ole!

Add more or less salsa as desired. Throw in some lime juice and chopped cilantro to taste if you have it on hand. But if you don’t…no sweat.

Sprinkle on some salt and pepper to taste, and you are ready to roll…er dip, in this case.

Scoop, there it is. 🙂 (<———If that creates a mental picture of me doing the toostie roll as I eat my guac, it wouldn’t be inaccurate.)

My personal favorite is Organic Jacks salsa from Costco. I like that it has just the right amount of bite and freshness to it, but still has a long enough shelf life so I can eat my way through it before it goes bad. It’s the practical things… 🙂

Alrighty…recipe time!

—————————————

1. Cut open avocado, remove pit, and scoop out flesh into a bowl.

2. Mash avocado to desired consistency with the back of a fork. Mix in the remaining ingredients.

***This makes about 3/4 cup of guacamole. Double, triple, or quadruple+ recipe to make larger batches. ***
