My New MOO Business Cards

April 9, 2013 · Delia 16 Comments

A while back MOO, contacted me about reviewing some of their business cards.

I had been putting this off for years. I just didn’t think I was legit enough to require one.
Well, I decided to get over that and go ahead and be legit. ๐Ÿ˜‰
(Thanks MOO for the confidence boost….and don’t worry that’s not my business card right there. It’s just the pep talk that comes in every MOO box. ;))
MOO was the perfect company to team up with to design my first cards.
They did give me free cards, BUT everything I am about to say about them is genuine.
( Please also note that I am an affiliate for MOO, so all the links in this post are affiliate links.)
I LOVE MOO. They are passionate about printing high quality and it shows. You would think it would come with a high quality price. Well…they aren’t cheap, but they also aren’t unreasonable by any stretch.
You can design a FULL color image on both sides of your card, with a different design on each of your cards if you want...all for the same price. It just comes standard! I couldn’t think of that many designs, so I kept it to three.
They also have just really unique products like this computer chip one – whaat? Awesome.
Their mini MOOs are cute. They have standard, and yet they are nicer than the “standard,” business cards as well.
I chose to go with their Luxe cards. The paper is much more substantial which lent perfectly to what I envisioned when I decided I wanted to turn my business card into a crafting tool!
I have two posts up on how to use my business cards with more project ideas in the works!
How to Make a Mini Business Card Pom Pom
Business Card Ribbon Scrap Organizer
I also made one of my business cards into one of my favorite games: Tan-grams!

Bring it along to keep you entertained during a meeting, or to keep your kids busy at the doctor’s office!

Of course, you can scan the QR code which will show you how to craft with it instead. Speaking of QR codes, MOO can generate one for you during the upload/design process.

Whatever you’re into, I want you to have fun with my card and let it inspire you to create too!
I have a “how to use my business card page” listed under “Card” at the very top. I hope to add some more simple, and maybe a few quirky posts to the project list soon.
I also ordered some postcards from MOO.
These postcards are the real deal.
They are full color, gorgeously printed, and the same standard applies. Yep, you can include as many pictures or designs as you want.
Some of my postcards are for my blog, but some of them are just for fun or for family.
I included some cute ones of my kids that would go great with a message like, “I can’t believe you’ve had another birthday!” (see the shocked face on Natalie) or “You rock. Congrats!” (paired with Owen’s rock out stance on the stairs).
The quality and thickness of these cards is stunning. They look like postcards you would pick up at a gift shop.
I can’t say enough great things about MOO. Their customer service is beyond excellent. I had a few postcards that didn’t turn out just right, and they reprinted them without hesitation. They are that good. Way to go MOO!

Thanks for making me look legit. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I like MOO, they have some nice designs there. The only problem is that theyre not very customisable. You have to pretty much just choose the template and thats it. So this time around I used print24, they have a tool that allows you to personlise every detail of the design. I like your photos though, theyre awesome! ๐Ÿ™‚ Are all the photos yours?

    Jon.

Thank you. Yes, they are all my pictures, on the postcards and the ones posted here.

I happy to tell you that MOO cards are fully customisable. I know that because I am responsible for the designs on my business cards. I created my images in photoshop and then uploaded them into the MOO website. If you browse their design templates (which are very cool too) you can
