otter pop sleeves

July 7, 2011 · Delia 17 Comments

I been trying to craft more with my kids lately.
聽So I decided to make these fun monster otter pop sleeves with them. Credit for idea found here.
聽My oldest loves to be creative with me. My 2 year old…just likes to have free reign on my button box.

All in all it was a fun afternoon activity. 馃檪
We sewed one up for each of us…except for Dad. He likes his otter pops sleeveless. 馃檪
Owen was an excellent helper.
聽And the boys love using the sleeves.
We’ve got a 100 pack of otter pops to whittle down this summer, so these little guys are going to see a lot of use.
Happy Summer!

That's such a great idea. I wouldn't have thought about that. But I'll bet your boys love them!

This is so funny…I had just decided to think up something just like this because my little girl doesn't like to have her Otter Pops frozen because it's too cold on her hands. Great timing! 馃檪

Love love love these. BUT, guess what? They don't sell Otter Pops in MD. They only sell the knock off brands that don't taste nearly as good. BUMMER!

This is a fantastic idea! My little one always requires a towel to hold his ice pop, but this is a much more fun idea!
    Thanks!!!!

Great idea, no more towels, napkins etc. Plus these little monsters are super cute.

Free reign on the buttons sounds like a good way to keep my own two year old entertained while I help my older son with a real project! These turned out so cute- the faces are a fun twist! Hope things are going great for you guys- have a nice weekend!

We are doing these tomorrow! For sure! My kids always insist on using little face cloths, but these would be so much more fun!
