Overnight Bag Feature in Mollie Makes

I’m so excited to show you what I’ve been working on for Mollie Makes!

Overnight Bag Tutorial for Mollie Makes // www.deliacreates.com

It’s an overnight bag tutorial, complete with a swivel hook leather strap, welt lining zipper pocket, and the prettiest Rifle Paper Co. dark floral fabric from Fabric.com (affiliate link*).

It’s a lovely canvas material that is sturdy but soft. The lining is this beautiful Cotton + Steel Printshop Moons fabric. Unfortunately, that fabric is unavailable now, but this Cotton + Steel Brikka Black fabric (affiliate links) is really close.

I got all the rivets and leather straps from Michaels. I found the straps in black too, which I plan to use in future projects! (excited face!) Stay tuned for that.

This bag is perfect! I’m off to get my hands on this pattern. I’d like to order the fabric. What are the requirements?

    Thank you!

      Thanks Emily!

      Here are the fabric requirements:
1 1/4 meters cotton or linen canvas as main fabric (115 cm wide)
1 1/4 meters cotton canvas as interfacing (115 cm wide)
1 1/4 meters cotton or other fabric as lining

The rest of the supplies list and the instructions are in the magazine.

I hope that helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.

I ❤️ this bag! I’ve been looking for the completed size measurements but haven’t come across them. Would you be able to provide them? I want to make this! Thank you!
